Three people killed in a tragic road accident in Syrdarya
On August 9, a Captiva and a truck collided on the M-34 highway in the Khavast district of Uzbekistan’s Syrdarya region. According to preliminary information, the truck failed to give way to the Captiva, which was travelling in the left lane, while making a turn. The force of the collision caused the passenger car to catch fire.
Unfortunately, the Captiva driver and two passengers died at the scene. A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is currently underway.
