Those who report environmental violations will be rewarded

The National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change has introduced a system to encourage citizens who report environmental offenses. Citizens can now submit photo or video evidence of illegal cases through the EkoNazorat information system or the @ecogovuzbot bot. Based on the submitted evidence, 15% of the fine collected from the offender will be paid to the reporting citizen as a reward. Committee chairman Aziz Abduqahhorov called on citizens to be active in environmental monitoring.
