According to the Presidential Decree “On Additional Measures for the Introduction of a Modern Organizational System and Financial Support in the Activities of Household Landowners and Dehkan Farms,” landowners whose tax authorities have not paid sufficient attention to the regulation of land plots allocated for the construction of individual houses may be subject to a higher — three-fold — rate of the single land tax. This will be implemented as an experiment when it is determined during quarterly monitoring that the crop has not been fully sown or has been left unattended. In this case, the temporary suspension, restoration of the provided benefits and the application of increased tax rates will be carried out based on the conclusion of the “mahalla seven” and the relevant information will be entered into the “Online mahalla” electronic platform.
Also, if the income from products grown on the household plot is high, 90 percent of the land tax will be refunded.
