Those who have prepaid for gas and electricity will be charged the old price for two months

Electricity and natural gas tariffs will be increased in Uzbekistan from June 1. However, consumers who have deposited sufficient funds into their accounts before the prices come into effect will have the opportunity to pay at the old tariff for up to two months. If consumption exceeds the prepaid amount, the excess will be charged at the new tariff.

According to the new tariffs, electricity for the population up to 200 kW/h will cost 650 soums, the range of 201–500 kW/h will cost 900 soums, and the range of 501–1000 kW/h will cost 1,100 soums.

For natural gas, the population will pay 1,100 soums per cubic meter for consumption up to 500 cubic meters per month during the heating season and up to 100 cubic meters in other seasons. Increased rates apply for volumes above this.
