Soon, all obligatory state payments will be made only in a non-cash form. What is included in these services, how will this happen, and will the slow Tajik Internet interfere with the reform?
Asia-Plus asked the head of the State Savings Bank "Amonatbank" Sirojiddin Ikromi to answer these questions. It is through this bank that the main payments for public services are made.
- What kind of payments are we talking about?
- According to the message of the President of the country dated December 23, 2022 "On the main directions of domestic and foreign policy", presidential decree No. 586 dated June 22 of this year, in order to support the development of the financial sector, the full coverage of digital networks of financial services, the provision of a variety of services, is being implemented in cashless payments the following:
- payment of taxes, state duties, licenses;
- compulsory insurance;
- public utilities;
- bank accounts.
Let me explain for other banks: when you pay from electronic wallets of other banks, for example, Alif Bank, your money will be transferred through the account of Amonatbank.
In other words, cooperating with government departments and other financial institutions, Alif and other banks, as before, will provide the opportunity to pay for public services: payment for electricity, water, heating, etc.
Each department or municipal organization has accounts only in Amonatbank. Consequently, accounts from other banks will be credited to our bank.
