Theft at the Louvre Museum

On October 19, nine valuable jewelry pieces belonging to Napoleon were stolen from the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
According to preliminary reports, a group of three to four experienced thieves entered the museum through a service corridor near the Seine River and carried out the theft in just 4–7 minutes.
Among the stolen items were a tiara, a necklace, and a brooch — all of significant historical value. One of the stolen crowns was later found damaged outside the museum.

The amount of damage has not yet been determined.
The Louvre Museum has been temporarily closed, and an investigation is underway.
