The world's happiest countries have been announced

The top ten in the World Happiness Report 2025 are Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Costa Rica, Norway, Israel, Luxembourg and Mexico, and Finland has been named the happiest country in the world for the eighth consecutive year. Uzbekistan ranks 53rd in the ranking (down 6 places). The performance of other Central Asian countries is as follows:

Afghanistan was named the unhappiest country (147th place).

This ranking is published annually on the International Day of Happiness, which is celebrated on March 20. When compiling it, the country's GDP per capita, life expectancy, social assistance, freedom, level of corruption, and generosity are taken into account.
