The work permit fee for some specialists involved from abroad will be reduced from 10 million to 330 thousand rubles

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev holds an open dialogue with entrepreneurs. The head of state is giving a speech about the priorities for the development of entrepreneurship in the country.
It is reported that with the support of small business centers, cooperative relations with the project initiator and large state-owned enterprises will be established. In this, Centers will help to introduce modern technologies in new enterprises, improve staff skills and realize their product.

At the same time, these enterprises are allowed to sell products of their own production in the public procurement system for 2 years directly under contract.

Private partners are also involved in the management of small business centers. These entrepreneurs are allowed to enter the”Business Development Bank " as shareholders.

Foreign specialists are brought to the Centers. In this case, the period for issuing a work permit in Uzbekistan to specialists involved from abroad, such as a business consultant, engineer-technologist, designer, hotel manager, marketer, agronomist, veterinarian, breeder, is extended from the current 1 year to 3 years. The work permit fee will be reduced from the current Rs 10 crore to Rs 330 crore. They are not required to draw conclusions from the territorial Labor body about the feasibility of recruitment.
