The verdict against Abdugadir Mominov was left unchanged

The appeal against the blogger Abduqadir Mominov, who was sentenced to 7 years and 3 months in August, was not satisfied. This is reported by the press service of the Supreme Court. Today, in the Tashkent city court, the criminal case against Abduqodir Mominov (born in 1990 in Surkhandarya region, head of "Oyna khed" LLC, not previously convicted) was opened by the defendant and his defense attorneys at the Mirabad district court on criminal cases on March 4, 2023. An open court session was held on the basis of appeals against the verdict in August. This criminal case was considered under the chairmanship of judge D. Rajabov of the criminal trial panel of the Tashkent city court and the composition of the court consisting of judges M. Ahmedov and H. Shamshiyev. According to the decision of the appellate instance of the criminal trial panel of the Tashkent City Court on October 6, 2023, the sentence of the first instance court against A. Mominov was left unchanged, and the appeals were left unsatisfied. According to the report, it is possible to file a cassation appeal or protest against this decision to the Supreme Court's Criminal Trial Panel.
