The US presidential candidate called China the main threat

The main threat to the United States is China, said Vivek Ramaswamy, a candidate for the presidency of the Republican Party, in an interview with Fox News.

“The number one threat we face is Communist China. "Now we should focus on the USSR, which does not exist now," said the republican.

Earlier, Ramaswamy said that the "China-Russia alliance" is the "number one threat" to the United States.

"By continuing to arm Ukraine, we are putting Russia in the hands of China," he said.

In August, the presidential candidate announced his readiness to make concessions to Russia regarding the war in Ukraine. In particular, according to his words, he is ready to recognize the territories of Ukraine annexed by Russia and oppose Ukraine's entry into NATO. He also promised to lift sanctions and return Russia to the world market.

According to a Fox News poll, 11 percent of voters in the Republican primaries support Ramaswamy. He is behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former US President Donald Trump, with 13 and 60 percent of voters, respectively, willing to support them.
