The US is considering the option of kidnapping the Cuban president

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told reporters that the option of kidnapping Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel is also being considered when taking action against Cuba. The minister said that the final decision will be made by Donald Trump. 

According to local media, Cuba has increased civil defense measures on the island and distributed weapons to the population as tensions with the US escalate. It is recommended to be prepared for possible crisis scenarios.

Earlier, the Trump administration announced its intention to make political changes in Cuba. The US president sharply criticized the current government, noting that Washington has "big plans" for Cuba. US media, in turn, reported that the Trump administration is intensifying its policy of pressure on Cuba and discussing possible military scenarios.
