The Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, spoke in New York at a meeting of UN member states on the fight against tuberculosis.
This was reported by the press service of the Republic's Ministry of Health.
Jamoliddin Abdullozoda noted that issues of public access to medical services in Tajikistan are included in the National Development Strategy until 2030.
In particular, these strategies are aimed at improving equity and efficiency in the health care sector through the creation of a unified system and the introduction of new payment mechanisms for services.
Although a number of sections of these documents have already been implemented, healthcare financing reform and restructuring in this area continue, the minister added.
