The Turkmen fashion house SENNUR will take part in the International Festival of Folk Arts and Crafts “Hunarmand” in the Uzbek city of Kokand.
The event will take place on the territory of the Khudoyorkhon residence from September 21 to 23. The territory will be divided into different “cities”, for example, a city of blacksmiths, coppersmiths, jewelers and other crafts.
More than a thousand artisans from 60 countries are expected to take part in the festival. They will present their works in national costumes inside tents with the symbols of the event. In addition, master classes of artisans, as well as folklore, ethnographic and theatrical performances will be organized.
The festival is aimed at developing crafts and supporting artisans, popularizing their work, exchanging experiences and attracting tourists.
The SENNUR fashion house hopes that the event will become a factor in the promotion and popularization of Turkmen culture and will demonstrate to guests from different countries the beauty and originality of national Turkmen dresses.
Previously, the Turkmen fashion house SENNUR charmed the Parisian audience with its exquisite collection at the Oriental Fashion Show 2023. Its participants were delighted with the outfits inspired by traditional motifs and Turkmen national patterns.
