The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met today with the chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen interparliamentary friendship group Toshiaki Endo, the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in the Land of the Rising Sun reports.
The meeting took place in the Japanese House of Representatives building. The parties discussed directions for the development of cooperation between the countries, paying special attention to significant opportunities in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.
The Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group also expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the birthday of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who turns 42 today.
The Japanese-Turkmen interparliamentary friendship group unites deputies of the House of Representatives of Japan and the Mejlis of Turkmenistan with the aim of developing friendly relations between the two countries. The Group actively conducts meetings, exchanges and consultations on various issues of bilateral and multilateral interest. It also helps strengthen ties between the peoples, business communities and cultural organizations of Japan and Turkmenistan.
