From September, the number of passengers using the Metro after the start of training in educational institutions amounted to almost 520 thousand on the first school day. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent Metro.

It is noted that this figure is 180,000 (53 percent) passengers more than the daily ridership of last August. Therefore, in order to control the flow of passengers, to improve the quality of service, the interval of traffic on the lines of the Metro was reduced at peak times.

Including:

Chilonzor route-1.5-2 minutes;
Uzbekistan route - 3-4 minutes;
Yunusabad Line-5 minutes;
Yerusti ring metro route-7-8 minutes.
“It is worth noting that passengers who use the subway in a permanent way will save their time if they make the payment through bank and transport cards, as well as provide a basis for maximizing traffic in front of the box office,” the message said.

Earlier it was reported that in order to ensure the continuity of passenger traffic in Tashkent and further increase the quality of services provided, it is planned to increase the number of 1,464 buses launched today to 1,550, and the number of services operated from 21.7 to 22.8 thousand.
