The Tashkent City Municipality reported that the Botanical Garden will not be allowed to be converted into an amusement park

The Botanical Garden was not transferred to the balance of the Tashkent City Hall, and the municipality is not the initiator of this decision. 
It is noted that the municipality recognizes the importance of this scientific institution in preserving the country's ecosystem, preserving and reproducing the gene pool of plants, and does not allow it to be transformed into an amusement park.

Earlier project.gov.uz the portal announced the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "on the radical improvement of the activities of Parks and their management system".

According to it, it is envisaged to transfer cultural and recreational parks to the management directorates of Parks, which will be organized under the municipalities of the regions.

The Portal provides for a public discussion of projects, and only after public acceptance is the document approved by the competent authorities, and it comes into force.
