The State Security Service warned of suspicious foreign calls

Recently, there has been an increase in calls from foreign numbers. According to analysis, such calls are made not from a regular SIM card, but via the Internet and special programs. 
Experts noted that in these cases it is difficult to determine the source of the call, since they are temporary and spoofed numbers. 

❗️ The State Security Service reminded of the following risks:

🔹 Calling back to such numbers will result in a chargeback;
🔹 Fraudsters may pretend to be an employee of the organization and ask for personal and banking information;
🔹 Answering the call indicates that your number is “active” and increases the number of attacks;
🔹 Your voice can be recorded and later falsified using artificial intelligence.

Citizens were advised not to answer suspicious numbers, not to call back, not to block them, and not to disclose personal information.
