The state archive building opened in Balykchy

An additional archival repository of the state archive of the city of Rybak was opened in Balykchy.

According to the state archive, the opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Archive Service of Kyrgyzstan Maria Alybaeva, the mayor of the city of Rybak Arnabek uulu Azamat, the chairman of the council of deputies of the city of the fisherman Zhakshilik Abdrazakov and other heads of the local administration.

The head of the Isyk-Kel district department of the Archive Service for the Isik-Kel region, Bermetgul Aitkulieva, said that the building, which was built in 1954 and previously belonged to the transport agency of the city of Ribachie, was adapted for storing archival documents. Because our archival repository is in need of maintenance, the Archives Service made an appropriation for the construction of the archival repository in August 2022, and it opened for use this year.”

Currently, the state archive of the Fisherman's Town has 23,436 storage units and 150 funds. Currently, there are 5 employees working in the archive, and 3 of them have the badge “Excellence in Archival Affairs” - U. Toksumbaeva, Z. Umetalieva, K. Kulenbekova.
