1969 The Noongah, carrying steel, disappeared off the coast of New South Wales in a strong storm. Five of the 26 crew members were rescued during the search. The fate of the remaining 21 crew members and the ship remained a mystery.
After 55 years, the remains of the shipwreck were discovered by local sailors and found at a depth of 170 meters below sea level. A special research group was established to extract and study it. It is assumed that the bodies of citizens lost in the accident may be inside the ship.
