The second international craft festival began in Kokand

A second international craft festival was launched in Kokand. This is reported by Azizjon Ermatov, correspondent of the” river".It is noted that craftsmen, masters of folk applied arts, specialists, guests of honor, cultural and art figures from more than 70 countries are expected to participate in the festival. The festival, which is co-organized by the Ministry of culture, the Association “Craftsman” and the municipality of the Fergana region, will be attended by about a thousand craftsmen from all regions of our country and will show their products.Within the framework of the Festival, solemn walks of participants, exhibition-sale of products of local and foreign craftsmen, scientific conference on "world practice in the field of preservation and development of traditional artistic crafts", fashion show with the participation of international and Uzbek craftsmen-designers, folk sayils, The presentation of the book-album” crafts of Uzbekistan " will be held.As part of the International Craft Festival, there will be a screening competition between local and foreign artisans. The exhibition of products and master classes of the participants of the competition are evaluated by the international jury in 5 nominations.Activities within the scope of the International Craft Festival will continue until September 23.
