In the financial market of Tajikistan, the value of the Russian ruble has lost stability in relation to the national currency - somoni

The National Bank of Tajikistan announced the value of the somoni against the currency.

The value of the Russian ruble on the republic’s foreign exchange market after the weekend, according to the regulator’s scoreboard, decreased.

According to the latest data, the price of 1000 rubles is 109.2 somoni.

Previously, such a volume of Russian currency could be purchased for 110.1 somoni.

Thus, the exchange rate of the Russian ruble to the Tajik currency fell over the past weekend to the level of the last ten days of February 2016.

It is worth noting that the ruble strengthened slightly in mid-August after the decision of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to increase the refinancing rate. However, this situation did not last long.

"American" also showed a decline. Now in the country they give 10.9641 somoni for one dollar.

Meanwhile, the European currency rate continued to grow. According to the National Bank, one euro on the foreign exchange market is sold for 11.5858 somoni. Meanwhile, before the weekend, the “European” exchange rate was set at 11.5300 somoni.

The dollar is falling in Tajikistan, but what about the ruble?

As of October 9, the average rate for the sale of cash foreign currency in credit institutions of Tajikistan was set as follows:

1 dollar - 10.9641 to 11.0000 somoni;

1 euro - 11.5858 to 11.8000 somoni;

1 Russian ruble - 0.1092 to 0.1115 somoni.

The National Bank of Tajikistan warns that failure to comply with the rules of foreign exchange transactions leads to administrative and criminal liability.
