The head of the annexed Crimean city of Sevastopol informed the staff of the Black Sea fleet that a missile strike had been inflicted. The attacks on the city were becoming more regular, the plant where the warships were being repaired was attacked last week.
The Ukrainian army sent a missile strike to the staff of the RF Black Sea Fleet. This was announced by the head of the annexed city of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvojayev.
"Fragments fell around the Lunacharsky theater. When faced with such elements — we ask you not to approach them and call 112. All operational services had arrived at the scene. Information about the victims is clarified, " Razvojayev said.
He clarified that the blow was issued by the Ukrainian army.
He urged the inhabitants of Sevastopol to remain calm and not to distribute photos and videos with the consequences of the blow.
A TASS reporter reported that the fragments were scattered hundreds of kilometers after the rocket hit, with many ambulances arriving at the scene. According to the telegram channel" Krimsky veter", ten ambulances were gathered in front of the fleet staff building.
The RF Ministry of defense has stated that one soldier was killed in Sevastopol as a result of an attack on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters. The ministry confirmed that five missiles of Ukrainians were shot down over the peninsula, and another missile came and hit the fleet staff building.
Photographs taken at the scene show that the headquarters building roof and at least one of the upper floors were destroyed. A fire broke out in the roof section.
The leader of Sevastopol expressed the possibility of another attack. "Asked not to come to the city center. Do not go outside the premises," he said in a telegram. Around 14:15 local time, he said that the danger of rocket and aviation had melted, but asked residents to refrain from coming to the streets in the center of Sevastopol.
Earlier than razvozhayev's statement about the missile strike, residents of Sevastopol reported that the voices of the air defense system are heard, writes The telegram-channel "Ostorozhno, novosti".
Kiev did not comment on reports of a missile strike issued throughout the Black Sea Fleet staff. Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the president of Ukraine, posted the AC/DC track of the group "War Machine" on his telegram channel at the time when news of the attack appeared.
On July 31, 2022, the Black Sea Fleet staff in Sevastopol was also attacked. Razvojayev said that a drone had come to the yard of the fleet staff and hit, wounding at least five staff members.
Annexed Crimean officials regularly report both rocket strikes and drone strikes this fall, including to Sevastopol, where, in addition to the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet, military airfields and other military outposts are located.
Two days ago, Razvojayev reported that the air defense forces had repelled a missile attack on Sevastopol. Ukrainian publications, on the other hand, gave a link to the country's security service, writing that in the morning of September 20, the Black Sea Fleet was hit by a command post near Sevastopol.
Last week, on September 13, the Russian-appointed administration of Sevastopol confirmed the launch of an attack on the Sevastopol naval plant located in the city.
At the time, the RF Ministry of defense was limited to reporting damage to two warships, while investigative journalists later showed photographs of the submarine standing in the dock severely damaged. According to their confirmation, it was a diesel-electric submarine of the "Varshavyanka" project named "Rostov-on-Don". He was scuttled in 2014 and participated in military practice in Syria.
The Ukrainian government designated obects on the peninsula as legitimist military insignia.
