Israeli archaeologists found 3,300-year-old amphorae among the oldest shipwrecks found at the bottom of the sea in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. This discovery was made during regular exploration of oil and gas. The shipwreck is the "first and oldest" found in the region and may have sunk during a storm or pirate attack. The vessels are expected to go on display this summer at the National Campus of Israel Archeology in Jerusalem.
