The Queen of Thailand piloted a Gripen fighter jet herself.

Queen Suthida of Thailand completed her first solo flight in a Swedish-made JAS 39C Gripen fighter jet.
The flight took place at an air force base in Thailand's Surat Thani province. After successfully landing, the Queen was greeted by her husband, King Maha Vajiralongkorn, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers.
The Queen possesses extensive flying experience, with a total flight time of 1,188 hours. She has previously flown as a co-pilot on passenger aircraft. To fly the fighter jet solo, she underwent special training in a two-seater Gripen aircraft.
