In cooperation with a Russian company in the Navoi free Economic Zone, it is planned to produce unmanned aircraft systems designed for agribusiness.
Vasily Ptitsyn, General Director of FlySeeAgro of Russia and Head of the Navoi Free Economic Zone Directorate Uzbekistan's Habib Abdullayev signed a memorandum on the implementation of a 5-year investment program “establishing the production of unmanned aircraft systems in the Republic of Uzbekistan”. It is noted that the total cost of the program over a five-year period will be $ 80 million. Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties reached an agreement on the development of a roadmap for the project, the creation of a Master plan to attract investment, and the creation of a working commission to assist in production issues.
The company FlySeeAgro is engaged in the production of agricultural drones, biological protection of plants with the help of entomophages (predatory insects) and positions itself in Russia as a leading company in the field of integration of drones into various spheres of human activity. Has 5 years of experience in agribusiness development.
The program provides for the training of qualified personnel in Uzbekistan, the creation of a management system for the plant and industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan involved in the project. It is reported that specialists from Russia will be involved in the program.
