The procedure for conducting certification of heads of information services has been established

According to the regulation “On the procedure for conducting certification of heads of information services of state bodies and organizations and assessing the effectiveness of their activities”, registered with the Ministry of Justice on January 22, 2026, heads of information services are required to undergo certification at the Center for Content Preparation for Mass Media once every three years.
To conduct certification, an attestation commission consisting of at least seven people is formed by order of the Director of the Center. The commission requests a list of heads whose certification period has expired from state bodies and considers their applications within 10 days. Based on the approved list, certification is conducted within two months. The certification takes the form of an oral interview and includes five questions and practical tests. The results are evaluated on a five-point system. An applicant who receives at least 4 points is considered to have passed the certification and is issued an appropriate certificate.
