The Presidential Decree "On Measures for the Socio-Economic Development of the City of Tashkent until 2030" was adopted.

According to the decree, changing the appearance of cultural and recreational parks, avenues and boulevards, turning the capital into one of the megalopolises with fresh air by dramatically increasing green areas was defined as one of the main directions of the development of the city of Tashkent until 2030. Accordingly, an additional 4,000 hectares of green areas will be created in the city of Tashkent. The procedure for implementing investment projects and improving the city's infrastructure on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation between the state and entrepreneurs in the city of Tashkent will be introduced as a legal experiment until January 1, 2027. The Fund for the Development of Entrepreneurial Infrastructure under the Hokim of the city of Tashkent was renamed the Fund for the Development of the City of Tashkent. With the decree, the joint-stock company "Tashkent Invest Company" was established, which acts as a "bridge" between the state and entrepreneurs.
