The President suggested holding the Central Asian-German Economic Forum in Uzbekistan

Shavkat Mirziyoyev is participating in the economic forum organized under the auspices of the Eastern Committee of German Economy. This was reported by the President's press service.

It was reported that the President of Uzbekistan noted that today the countries are feeling the consequences of the global confidence crisis, which has a negative impact on world markets and forces them to look for alternative trade and logistics routes. In this regard, the attention of the participants was drawn to the processes in Central Asia.

"Now this is a completely different, strong and resilient region. "Our countries are effectively resisting modern threats together and are showing stable growth," the president said.

According to the calculations of the experts of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the total growth of the gross domestic product of the countries will remain stable at the level of more than five percent in the coming years.
