The President of Uzbekistan went to the USA

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in New York to participate in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The high-ranking guest was welcomed at the airport by New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Chairwoman of the US-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce Carolyn Lemm and other officials.

In accordance with the program of the visit, on September 19, the leader of Uzbekistan will deliver a speech at the general debate of the General Assembly of the United Nations and will state his point of view on current issues on the regional and global agenda.

As part of the main international political event of the year, the summit of the leaders of Central Asian countries and the United States of America, as well as bilateral meetings with leaders of foreign countries, prestigious international organizations and leading companies of the United States will be held.
