The President met with orphans in Penjikent and donated 4 ambulances to the city

On July 5, as part of a working trip to the Sughd region, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, after the opening of a metallurgical copper smelter at Zarafshan JV LLC, Penjikent, met with 100 orphans from the cities and districts of Penjikent, Buston, Ayni, Shahristan, Kukhistoni Mastchokh and Zafarabad, presented them with gifts , according to the press service of the head of state.

It should be noted that, according to tradition, the Head of State, during each working trip, inquired about the condition and situation of the orphans, showed concern for them.

At the meeting in Penjikent, along with decorating abundant dastarkhans and presenting gifts to teenagers and young people - orphans were given sets of clothes, financial assistance and sweets.

During the presentation of gifts, it was noted that care for orphans, street children and children from low-income families occupies a special place in the social policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the necessary and effective measures are constantly being taken to improve the conditions for their education and life.

During the period of independence, with the constant support of the Leader of the Nation, along with other educational institutions, the conditions for the education and stay of pupils in republican boarding schools for orphans are improving. Youth and orphans learn science and crafts here, make a valuable contribution to the prosperity of independent Tajikistan.

The President of the country talked with the youth and orphans of the Sughd region and admonished them for excellent studies, training in professions and crafts, learning foreign languages and working with modern technology.

Teenagers and young people need to master the sciences, master modern knowledge, and in the future, as faithful sons and daughters of the Motherland, serve the people and the state.

On the same day in Penjikent, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, in order to promote the development of the healthcare sector and improve the quality of medical care, presented the residents of Penjikent with 4 equipped ambulances and modern diagnostic equipment.

Industry transport has the necessary conditions for providing primary medical care and timely transportation of patients. Such a gift from the Leader of the Nation will raise the quality of service to residents to a higher level.

Also, the healthcare sector of Panjakent was donated modern medical equipment designed to examine patients, such as a digital X-ray machine, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, a respiratory diagnostic apparatus and other necessary medical supplies.

Residents and medical workers of Penjikent expressed their gratitude to the head of state for valuable gifts and constant care.
