The president listed systemic problems in the road sector

The head of state listed systemic problems in the road sector. This was reported by the President's press service.

In the polls conducted in the regions, residents indicated the state and quality of internal roads as one of the urgent problems. It was noted that the cost of projects can be reduced by at least 20-30 percent through the effective use of allocated funds.

At the meeting, attention was paid to the need to improve road design standards. The same "template" projects are being developed for small, medium and large roads, as well as for roads in the oasis and roads in the valley.

It was noted that it is necessary to pay attention to the orderly placement of trade and service facilities on international roads, taking into account road infrastructure in the projects.
