The President familiarized himself with the operations of a polymer enterprise in the “Chirchiq” technopark

Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the “Kmita Polymers” enterprise located in the chemical-industrial technopark of “Chirchiq”. This enterprise, established in cooperation with the Russian company “Polymers,” specializes in the production of a wide range of polyethylene film products.

It was noted that the enterprise operates on a 6,670-square-meter area using modern technological equipment from Italy and produces import-substituting goods worth 9.5 million US dollars per year.

The investment program is being implemented in two stages, with a total value of 15.2 million US dollars. So far, 7.4 million US dollars have been освоed in the first stage.

For reference, in 2025 the enterprise produced goods worth 115 billion Uzbek soms. In addition, the manufactured polymer products are widely used in the packaging systems of major brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Flash, “Chernoffka,” Ackerman, Asl Oyna, Biolife, and Family Group.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that increasing the number of such enterprises would not only contribute to the development of a single industry but also ensure the stable functioning of sectors such as the food industry, construction, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture.
