On the occasion of the day of employees and veterans of the industry on October 25 — the day of employees of the Internal Affairs bodies of Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated.

The tabrig of the head of state notes that in recent years, large-scale reforms have been carried out with the aim of transforming the internal affairs bodies into a truly folk-friendly structure, creating safe living and working conditions for the population in all cities and villages. Particular attention is paid to transforming any neighborhood into a crime-free area based on an in-depth study of the situation and problems in the lower reaches.

For this purpose, Law Enforcement facilities have been established in more than 350 neighborhoods, and preventive inspectors have been established in about 9.5 thousand neighborhoods.

As a logical continuation of this work, a system of “neighborhood Sevens” was established from the current year. Now the preventive inspector becomes the most active member of this system, studying the situation in the cross section of apartments. First of all, it takes measures to identify citizens who are most likely to commit an offense or suffer from it and solve their socio-domestic problems using the capabilities of the “neighborhood seven”.

"Above all, a practice is established to increase the legal consciousness of minors and young people in places, to prevent premature occurrence of socially dangerous behavior by educating them on the principles of healthy living.

We need to take to a new level what we started on this path, adhering to the noble principle of “all reforms and changes – to exalt human dignity” in the conditions of the New Uzbekistan. In this regard, we rely on a solid legal base created in the field of combating crime in the past period,” the congratulation said.

The president also noted that the field of internal affairs bodies is being intensively applied digital technologies, modern means of conducting business based on the advanced experiences of foreign countries, Information and Information Systems operating using artificial intelligence.

"In the following years, an effective system for training professional personnel for the internal affairs bodies was created. In particular, the practice of training future employees from childhood in the spirit of patriotism, as a highly qualified lawyer was established. It is established that each employee, in order to receive the next title, must necessarily improve his professional qualifications, study in the management magistracy of the Academy of the Ministry of internal affairs for appointment to a leadership position, and such experience pays off positively,” the head of state notes.

At the same time, it is noted that 80% of the public services provided by the internal affairs bodies are converted into electronic form, eliminating bureaucracy and situations of shaking citizens in the system. In each direction of activity, measures should be taken to organize the practice of studying social thought and monitoring by the public on the principle of “neighborhood – District – region – Republic”.

“In short, the practical result of our reforms in the Internal Affairs system must be felt by every employee of the industry, first of all, our people, in their daily lives,” the president said.

For information, according to the law”on the establishment of the day of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan", October 25 is designated as the day of employees of the Internal Affairs bodies of Uzbekistan. October 25, 2022 marked the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Internal Affairs bodies of Uzbekistan.
