The President awarded the chess players.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that he would award the chess players and para-chess players who achieved outstanding results at the 46th World Chess Olympiad held in Samarkand.

Under the decision, the chess players will be awarded housing, cars, and monetary prizes. Specifically, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Javohir Sindorov, Nodirbek Yakubboev, Muhiddin Madaminov, and Shamsiddin Vohidov will receive homes and cars.

Para-chess players Ahadkhon Kimsanboev, Marsel Shoyusupov, Sardorbek Mamarajabov, Selbi Kakishova, and Sirojiddin Zayniddinov will also be awarded housing and cars. Furthermore, each chess player who became an Olympiad champion will receive a cash prize of $200,000, while their coaches will receive $50,000 each. Each para-chess player who won a bronze medal will receive $50,000, and their coaches will receive $12,500 each.

Team coaches Rustam Kasimdzhanov and Samandar Shermuhamedov will also be awarded cars.
"Of course, a car is necessary, but a home is also needed for future brides," the President said during the meeting.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude to the athletes' parents, mentors, and coaches, and congratulated them on their new victories.
