The pension system in Uzbekistan will be digitized

 

According to the presidential decree, from 2027, the regional departments of the Treasury Committee and the Pension Fund will be abolished, and compact service offices consisting of 1-3 staff units will be established in their place. As a result, the number of management staff units will be reduced to 1,080.

From December 1, 2024, the “My Pension” online service will be launched. Through it, citizens will be able to determine the amount of their pension in advance based on their length of service and salary data.

From December 1, 2026, an electronic signature and Face-ID system will be introduced for pension payments. Artificial intelligence technologies will also be added to the Call Center.

Pension services will be fully electronic, interactive and proactive. The Treasury system will be transferred to an automated digital platform and integrated with the SWIFT system.
