The Pension Fund Warns Pensioners

Recently, there have been cases where unknown callers contact retired citizens by phone and request their bank card or passport details, allegedly to increase their pension payments. In response, the Pension Fund has issued a warning.

Fraudsters introduce themselves as employees of a bank or the Pension Fund, ask for personal information, and make false promises.

Pension Fund employees never request personal information over the phone.

Citizens are therefore advised not to share personal data such as passport details, bank card information, or their PINFL (Personal Identification Number) with strangers. In case of suspicious calls, they are urged to contact 1271 (Pension Fund) or 102 (Internal Affairs).
