The number of victims of the mine explosion in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan reached 28. In the Republic, October 29 was declared a day of universal mourning.  

Kazakhstan's President Kasim-Zhumart Tukayev ordered to go to the scene of the tragedy and clarify the circumstances of the accident and take appropriate measures.

The head of state also met and sympathized with the family and loved ones of the fallen miners.

According to him, the circumstances of the accident will be determined and the necessary assistance will be provided to the injured and family members of the killed miners.

Recall that at night there was an explosion at the Kostenko mine in Karaganda. Of the 252 people, 205 were released to the surface, 18 of whom sought medical attention. So far, the bodies of 28 people have been identified, 18 people are wanted.
