A new medical facility will open in the administrative center of the Sughd region.

The Khovar agency writes about this with reference to the press service of the regional chairman.

Thus, it is planned to commission the Marmed international medical center in the city.

The building consists of 6 floors and has a capacity of 36 beds.

The center meets international standards, has separate rooms for diagnosis and treatment, consultations, administration, as well as a registry and two separate operating rooms.

To date, the bulk of the construction work has been completed and the installation of equipment is nearing completion.

Modern equipment is mainly imported from South Korea, Europe, Turkey and China.

Khujand intends to recruit doctors from Russia

This center will provide medical services in the field of diagnosis and treatment using the latest equipment, and will carry out many types of operations, including maxillofacial and eye surgeries. For this purpose, qualified domestic specialists will be involved, as well as famous doctors from Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Belarus.

According to officials, the center will open this year. With the commissioning of new modern facilities, up to 30 people will be provided with work.
