The number of airlines in Uzbekistan has reached eight. This is reported by the Ministry of Transport.

During the first half of 2023, in addition to Uzbekistan Airways JSC, Qanot Sharq, Panorama Airways and Humo Air, Centrum Air, Silk Avia, Asia Union Airlines and Tashkent Air" airlines were established and began their operations. During the last 6 months of 2023, 17 aircraft were brought to our country by JSC "Uzbekistan Airways" and newly established resident airlines. Today, Uzbekistan Airways JSC, Qanot Sharq, Centrum Air, Silk Avia and Humo Air airlines operate 93 regular flights per week on local routes.
