The most in Samarkand region, the least in Syrdarya: statistics of cases of driving under the influence of alcohol were announced

The Supreme Court of Uzbekistan announced the dynamics of hearing cases related to administrative offenses in the courts in 2018-2022 and the first quarter of 2023.

According to him, in the three months of 2023, 5,709 cases were considered under Article 131 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility - drunk driving.

The largest number of cases of drunken driving were recorded in Samarkand region - 900. The lowest number of cases is in Syrdarya region - 142 cases. 339 administrative cases related to driving under the influence of alcohol were considered in Tashkent city.

At the same time, it can be seen that the number of such offenses has decreased over the past 4 years. In 2019, a total of 26,814 administrative cases related to drunken driving were considered, in 2020, this figure will be 23,063, in 2021, 25,680, and in 2022, 23,960. formed a body.

Article 136 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility — 1,795 cases in the first quarter of 2023 on evading the examination of drivers of vehicles and other road participants to determine whether they are drunk or not. Administrative work has been done. The most cases of this offense were recorded in Fergana region (488), and the least in Bukhara region (4).
