Persons engaged in cosmetic work (dermatologists) must be specialists with higher medical education or medical personnel with secondary medical education.
According to Report, Ramik Guliyev, Deputy Head of the Medical Control Department of the Center for Analytical Expertise of the Ministry of Health, announced this.
He noted that since cosmetic services involve interventions in the integumentary tissues of the human body, these institutions must meet the relevant requirements.
“In addition, given that these specialists with higher or secondary education are engaged in practical medical activities, they are certified every five years.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On private medical activity", private medical activity can be carried out by creating a legal entity in the manner prescribed by law, or by individuals with a higher medical education.
