The Ministry of Energy announced an antique way to save electricity

The Ministry of energy of Uzbekistan came out with an appeal to the population and announced an antique way to save electricity.

The ministry noted that in order to save electricity, it is necessary to try to wash at a lower temperature when using a washing machine. At a washing temperature of +90 degrees, the energy consumption will be 30-40 percent higher than at a washing temperature of +60 degrees. It is noted that sometimes a temperature of +30/40 degrees is also sufficient for washing. 

“Through this, you save the family budget, massively add that electricity reaches all consumers in one standard,” the ministry said in an appeal. 

In addition, the ministry asked residents not to install the refrigerator next to a gas stove or heating radiator. This will increase the freezer's electricity consumption by 20-30 percent.

It was recommended to purchase household appliances and electronic equipment “a”, “a +”, “A ++” or “a +++” with low power consumption and high energy efficiency.
