The Ministry of Economic Development of Tajikistan and the German Development Bank (KFW) signed a contract for 13.97 million euros

On August 25, 2023, the signing ceremony of the "Contract between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and the German Development Bank (KFW)" was held with the participation of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavkizoda Zavqi Amin and the Regional Director of the German Development Bank in Central Asia Andreas Schneider, the press ministry service.

As indicated in the message, under this contract, 13.97 million euros were allocated in the form of a grant for the implementation of the project "Support for the development of general secondary education and access to water supply, sanitation and hygiene facilities in remote areas" for the construction of educational institutions in Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as in the city of Dushanbe.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the implementation of the project “Support for the development of general secondary education and access to water supply, sanitation and hygiene in remote areas”, the European Union and Germany have attracted a total of 44.1 million euros in the form of a grant.
