It was reported that the Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov is spending about half a billion soums to create and implement a portal providing information about 10 artists. The Ministry of Culture responded to the objections spread on social networks regarding this situation.
It is noted that today there is no single open information system that can deliver reliable information to the population about the representatives of the culture and art spheres operating in the country and their creative activities.
Also, if residents have a desire to invite their favorite artists, creators or creative teams to weddings, ceremonies and other events, establishing direct contact with them, It is difficult to know their time and availability on the day of the launch or plan. That is, there is no integration space between the artist and the fan.
"The portal being created has an encyclopedic nature, and not only 10 artists, but representatives of all cultural and artistic spheres creating in our country - singer-composer, actor-actress, director, poet-writer, masters of words, dance art, visual arts. and is filled with accurate and reliable information about representatives of applied arts, askiyars, bakhshi, jiro, poets, circus artists, folklore groups, singing and dancing ensembles, pop groups, orchestra and choir groups, theater groups" — is called a relationship.
It is noted that this online system is a centralized platform of electronic government; It will be integrated with the "License" information system of the Ministry of Justice, which helps to check whether artists have a license or not, and with the "commeta comment" online platform of the "Imkon Uzbekistan" NGO, which gives users the opportunity to rate and comment on the work of representatives of art and culture.
Through the portal, it is planned to ensure transparency in recommending representatives of culture and art for state awards, including taking into account comments and reviews of the general public through the "Rating evaluation" subsystem, fair summarization of artists' activities, and automatic calculation of overall ratings.
"Based on the above requirements and needs, the Ministry puts forward the initiative to create a single open information system. "The costs of the development of this portal are determined taking into account the complex technical tasks of the new system, which includes a multi-functional and large database," the report says.
It is noted that the ministry will hold a briefing in the future to provide the media representatives and the general public with the opportunity to get complete information about this portal.
Earlier, the Ministry of Culture under the leadership of Ozodbek Nazarbekov was used to spending large amounts of budget money. Earlier, it was reported that the purchase of two special cars by the ministry for 15 billion 514 million 900 thousand soums caused public discussion. The ministry explained that this purchase was made based on the decision of the president.
