The Ministry of Culture allocated 8 billion soums for the purchase of 15 Isuzus

The Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan will buy 15 Isuzu NPR 75L-K trucks. The lot in this regard was placed in the electronic system of State procurement. The Ministry will allocate a total of 8.1 billion soums for vehicles with an initial price of 543 million. These vans are scheduled to be purchased in accordance with Annex 5 of Presidential Decree No. PQ-112 dated February 2, 2022. These vehicles are designed for the State Musical Comedy Theater of Uzbekistan, Young Audience Theater and a number of other regional theaters. In 2022, it was reported that the Ministry of Culture bought 2 special cars for about 16 billion soums. In April 2023, these cars purchased by the ministry were demonstrated. According to reports, this special car is the only one in Central Asia. Foreign countries were studied for the possibility of making such a modern motor vehicle, and China was chosen as the most suitable, and negotiations were conducted by the Ministry with OMDM and Huayuan. According to the conclusion of the negotiations, the OMDM company made an offer of $873,000, and the branch of Kazakhstan musical technologies in Almaty made an offer of $900,026 (for the purchase of one special vehicle).
