The Minister of Culture and Tourism of China came to our country

On October 27, a delegation led by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China Hu Heping visited our country. The high-ranking guest was welcomed by the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abduhakimov and the Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov. The purpose of the visit is to hold a series of meetings with the heads of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the "One place - one road" initiative. Also, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China will participate in the gala concert within the "Days of Chinese Culture" and visit tourism centers in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara regions. For information, in connection with the 10th anniversary of the "One place - one road" initiative, the Uzbekistan-China cultural exchange exhibition "Natural masterpieces of Uzbekistan and China" will be opened on October 28 at the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan. Also, as part of the visit, Hu Hepin will hold a tripartite meeting with UN World Tourism Organization Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili and Ecology Minister Aziz Abduhakimov. It is noted that the cooperation between Uzbekistan and China has become significantly more active in all areas in recent years. In particular, charter flights from China to Uzbekistan were launched, a number of activities were carried out to widely promote Uzbekistan's influence in the Chinese mass media, joint events were held, and important documents and memorandums were signed. As a result of the strengthening of bilateral relations in the field of tourism, more than 21 thousand tourists from China came to Uzbekistan during the 8 months of 2023.
