Delegations of eight CIS countries, including Armenia and Azerbaijan, arrived in Tula, where a meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Commonwealth States will be held
A meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States will take place in Tula.
This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Thus, delegations from eight CIS countries have already arrived in the city.
It is noted that representatives from Azerbaijan and Armenia will take part in the meeting.
During the meeting, it is planned to discuss a range of issues of military and military-technical cooperation.
In addition, the ministers of defense departments of the Commonwealth member states will exchange views on the military-political situation in the world.
The meeting was also attended by delegations from the defense departments of Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus.
Tajikistan took part in a meeting on CIS air defense issues in Tula
The Russian Ministry of Defense noted that upon arrival, the heads of the delegations laid flowers at the Three Bayonets memorial complex on Victory Square.
They honored the memory of the soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence. The ceremony ended with the solemn march of the Honor Guard company.
