At the Tashkent International Airport, on Sunday, August 27, at 10:09 p.m., there was a power outage due to an accident at the city's "Koyliq" substation. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.

It is noted that in a few seconds, the power of flight facilities - runways, air traffic control devices, radio navigation equipment - was restored at the expense of backup sources.

"Due to this, there were no flight delays at the capital's airport," the report said.

Also, the arrival terminal of local airlines and the domestic airline terminal were immediately transferred to backup sources. Within 15 minutes - at 22:24, the electricity supply was restored at the departure terminal of international airlines.

"At 10:40 p.m., the accident at the Koyliq city substation was eliminated, and the power supply was fully restored at the capital's airport," the report said.
