Nurmat Otabekov, the deputy head of the sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health committee, gave information about major cases of food poisoning this year at a press conference held at AOKA. It is noted that during the last 8 months of this year, 39 cases of group poisoning were recorded, in which 414 citizens were injured, 86 of them were children. Samarkand region 136 people were injured in one of the wedding halls in Urgut district. Homemade mayonnaise salad was served to the guests at the wedding and poisoning was observed. 7 of those poisoned are children. The patients were diagnosed with food poisoning. In another case, a kitchen selling fast food in Samarkand city used home-made carrot salad that did not comply with storage rules. As a result, 49 people were admitted to the hospital with the diagnosis of food poisoning. 18 of the victims are children. Jizzakh region 63 people were injured due to the salad with mayonnaise served to the singers in one of the canteens located in the city of Jizzakh. There are 7 children among them. The patients were diagnosed with food poisoning. Kashkadarya region 11 people were injured who ate at a fast food outlet in the Farmer's market area of Chirakchi district. They were diagnosed with acute intestinal infection. One child was registered among the poisoned. Tashkent city 12 children were injured due to improper storage of food by Good food catering LLC, which provides outsourced services to the 600th pre-school education organization (MTT) in Sergeli district. The sick children were diagnosed with group acute diarrhea.
