The procedure for the use of weapons in Uzbekistan
In Uzbekistan, the law on weapons was signed into law by the president on July 29, 2019. Activities for the production, repair and realization of civil and service weapons and its ammunition are carried out only by legal entities registered in the prescribed manner on the territory of Uzbekistan. A cash prize is awarded to those who voluntarily surrender weapons stored illegally in Uzbekistan to the IIV.

According to the amendments to the law on Public Prosecutions in 2022, it was established that employees of Public Prosecutions have the right to keep, carry and use the service arms and personal protective equipment in the manner prescribed by law (it was previously indicated that only they can carry).
